Monday, February 1st -
“Don’t Underestimate the Generosity of a Child’s Heart.”
With only one week completed of our two week “Howe Helps Haiti” drive we were humbled by the outpouring of support from the Howe community.
The stories of sacrifices, team work, and a little competition has driven this campaign well beyond anyone’s expectation. On day two, we found it necessary to adjust the donation “ Money Meter” (Allowing the Howe community to see just how well we are doing.) due to the amount of generous donations quickly coming in. This really should come as no big surprise, as we all know that Howe Elementary School is a very special place.

Wednesday, February 3rd - Late Start: Students arrive one hour later.
Howe Helps Haiti
The Howe Elementary community is going through “change” in a big way. Staff and students started a Penny Drive on Monday, January 24th, to raise money for the earthquake victims in Haiti. The Penny Drive will continue through the first week of February. The funds that are raised will be donated to the Red Cross Haiti Relief Effort.
