Ongoing Fundraisers at Howe School
You can help Howe School earn money for educational projects just by collecting specially marked milk caps and box tops. Just look for products with these symbols. Then all you have to do is send them into school.

After School Program
February Program Activities:
K-1 Program
Week of January 31st-February 4th
Like a Cheesehead-students will create packer football themed crafts and play football themed games to prepare ourselves for the packer superbowl win!
Week of Febuary 7th-February 11th
Valentine’s Day-students will participate in a number of Valentine’s themed games and crafts incorporating basic math skills.
Week of February 14th-February 18th
Letters and Numbers-students will focus on letter and number recognition at all the levels by using letter beads and alphabet cereal. Students will create sentences and words using these materials.
Week of February 21st-February 25th
African Animals-students will journey through Africa learning about different animals they will meet along the way!
*Please note that on Fridays, the K-1 students will be participating in Tap Dancing.
2-5 Program
*Students participate in two 30 minute activities a day. If they participate in two activities one day, they will participate in other two activities offered the opposite day. Students rotate by grade to help our staff adjust the projects to fit the different grade levels and abilities of students.
Mondays/Wednesdays
Like a Cheesehead-students will create football themed centerpieces and football themed snacks to help prepare ourselves for the packer superbowl win!
Valentine’s Fun-students will create a number of valentine’s day crafts and activities.
February Sweets-students will create a number of valentine’s day treats to eat or give to a special someone.
Mad Scientists-students will participate in a number of different science experiments such as rock candy, homemade volcanoes and many more!
*Please note, twenty 4th and 5th graders will be participating in Bricks 4 Kidz on Wednesdays which is a hands on program using legos. Everything the students will build will be motorized. This program incorporates a number of academic subjects as well as lots of fun!
Tuesdays/Thursdays
Popcicle Stick Palooza-students will use popscicle sticks to create masterpieces and also explore their creativity.
Heartfelt Crafts-students will focus on creating crafts for other people to show their appreciation for all they do.
Love Bugs-students will make snacks and crafts pertaining to Valentine’s day.
Computer lab/Boys Basketball Game/Girls Basketball Game-students will have the option to watch the boys/girls basketball game or use the computer lab.
*Please note, every Thursday, the 2nd and 3rd grade boys participate in Boy Scouts
