NOTES FROM THE MUSIC ROOM:
On Tuesday, November 24, some of our fifth graders will be part of an exciting event!
In June, 2009, the East Quadrant Unified Arts Team – E-QUATE-was formed to support, nurture, mentor and further the success of arts and music education in our schools. Howe Elementary is a proud member of this team.
To showcase the bright young talent that we have in our classrooms, we will be presenting a concert, along with the students of Sullivan, Doty, Webster, Langlade, Nicolet, Aldo Leopold, Washington Middle and East High School.
The concert starts at 6:30, with our fifth grade choirs opening the program. The first section of the program will include elementary, middle and high school choirs, and the second section will include the middle school band, and high school orchestra. The program will conclude with combined choirs and orchestra. While it is difficult to say for certain, the concert will be no less than 1 hour.
Please come and support this wonderfully exciting event! As educators in the East Quadrant Unified Arts Team, we have made it our mission to pledge our time and efforts to the students and staff - to mentor the universal arts' continued growth and success.
